Room was great! Infinity pool and restaurant were even better. Amazing view of the ocean. The shuttle service was amazing. It came every hour (sometimes twice hourly) to drop off up to 10 guest down the hill to the town area and/or beach club. The beach club was awesome! Very cleanly and nice access to the beach.

Good except the breakfast needs improvement. Nice rooms and view was beautiful. Area was not walkable. Seemed overpriced for what you got - which is the story of being a tourist in CR these days.

I do not have an upcoming stay at wyndham. I arrived on the 12th, was placed in a disgustingly filthy room with urine stains on the mattress, crumbs and hair on the bed, and bugs in the room. I was placed in a second room that had 8 bugs crawling on my pillows. Nothing was done to help me and we left at midnight forcing us to find another hotel for the night at midnight. I will never recommend your hotel to anyone ever again and plan to post several bad reviews with the photos of bugs and disgustingness of the rooms. I am livid with this hotel and the way things were handled. Being forced to find a new hotel in a foreign county at midnight on my birthday was not what i expected when i chose to stay at a hotel with a known name such as the wyndham.

The whole place was spotless and staff were wonderful. Usually we stay close to the water but in tamarindo that means being in the noisier part of town. So we opted for this place and used their shuttle to go back and forth. Loved the tranquility, the views of the ocean and the visit from the group of monkeys right at eye level off the back deck. We will definitely be back!

The room is ok it was clean but the bathroom is very basic below a Wyndham property the sink was a basic porcelain sink no space for tooth brush even. No counter or cupboards. The pool was great the staff were very nice the view is amazing. Breakfast was decent. The Langosta beach club is decent I used the gym very small but sufficient. The pool is nice not very many loungers so first come first serve .

Absolutely stunning property! The infinity pool was amazing with its view of the Pacific Ocean. We are so thrilled to have found this location. The staff were friendly and attentive. We had a rattling AC in our room. We called up as we were heading out to dinner and by the time we got back it was all fixed. Every room has an ocean front balcony. This really made our trip great.

Beautiful view. Pool is awesome! Shuttle service every hr down the hill and back. Hotel guests get Access to the Beach club/bar was awesome! Langusta I think it's called. Very clean. Friendly staff. The restaurant was great and had live music for dinner. Can connect your prime or Netflix to watch before bed on the TV. The only thing I could say negative is for the price of the stay there should be a hotel shuttle service to and from the airport. If you don't book ahead you will pay 150 USD for a ride to the hotel..... Luckily I found another group going to tamarindo and we split the bill. So book ahead or ask people at baggage claim to split a ride with you. Great hotel

The hotel did not return our deposit. There is a separate room credit one can open if one wants to charge the expenses from restaurants or bar to the room, we did that and paid the balance at the checkout but they did not return the initial deposit. After contacting the front desk they apologized and said it is now refunded but unfortunately it is not the case. For anyone booking a room at this hotel, keep your receipts, you may need them in case of doing a chargeback with your bank.

This was our second stay at the hotel, and while the views remain absolutely amazing, there are some areas that require attention. The front desk staff, tour staff, and shuttle service were all very approachable, pleasant, and courteous, which made a positive impression throughout our stay. Unfortunately, cleanliness and service consistency were lacking. Room cleaning was sub-par and needs to be addressed, as greater attention to detail is clearly required. The pool area also requires maintenance—several tiles are broken or falling off, and we witnessed multiple children getting minor cuts, which is concerning. Breakfast was the most disappointing aspect of the stay. The quality, variety, and overall service need improvement. While the manager was pleasant and receptive, the hostess was not welcoming initially, and the breakfast service overall requires a thorough review. This hotel has great potential and an incredible location, but improved attention to cleanliness, maintenance, and breakfast service is essential to meet expectations.

Room was clean and beautiful views! Bathroom layout a bit awkward and small but still ok. Loved having the swim up bar and lots of chairs outside to lounge. Good to have a restaurant on site as well. Shuttle that takes you to and from town hourly.

Nice place, great views. Loved the shuttle to and from the area where all the shops, bars, restaurants and beach were. They leave on the hour and pick up every hour and 15 minutes at the drop off location. Super convenient!
