Loved being right on the beach, and access to hammocks, and having a little private place to sit facing the sea. Simple and comfy room. I recommend walking to Derecho Sagrado for an outstanding cup of coffee.

I really loved La Palapa. I loved the staff and the location but I can’t overlook the condition of my room. I do wish the rooms were better kept, especially the bathroom. Everyone was so nice and friendly I would probably stay there again

Great hotel! The owner,Audrey, and the front desk man, Rolando, were so nice and accommodating! Very friendly. The room was clean and literally right in the beach. Even had a howler monkey wake me up one morning. Downtown is right outside the front door. The bathroom was a little tight though I would highly recommend

I love this little hotel! It’s right on the beach with lovely surroundings as well as a bar and restaurant. The room we had was so authentic! The air conditioning worked well. The staff was very pleasant and helpful! I would love to stay again sometime!

What a wonderful quaint resort! The owner is very active and engages the guest quite often! I made a recommendation in the morning and by the afternoon they had implemented my idea! Definitely coming back soon! Price is amazingly reasonable! Not many places have convenient parking!

The hotel is right on the beach and surrounded by shops, restaurants, and bars. The room was cute and quirky. The bathroom is extremely small and cramped… not appropriate for more than one person at a time… but that was the only real downside for us. The bed was large and comfortable and the air conditioner worked great! It was a great choice for us… we stayed 5 nights and filled our days with excursions and hanging at the beach and the many bar options close by.
