The room was awesome. We wanted to give a huge shoutout to the staff at the resteraunt. They accommodated our child SO well and made us feel comfortable. Very attentive and incredibly helpful. Would absolutely stay here again.

Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this hotel. While the manager was kind and personable, the state of the room was below any kind of reasonable standard of cleanliness. Upon arrival, we discovered that the coffee pot in the kitchen had about an inch of old coffee still in it covered in big fuzzy blobs of mold. There was mold in the utensil drawer. The microwave was dirty with food splatter. The utensils and dishes had been put away dirty. And the paper towel holder and stovetop were both rusty. The vent and the light above the stove did not work. Additionally, the kitchen was poorly appointed. The body wash in the shower was nearly empty. The heat on the AC unit smelled of urine and set the smoke alarm off. While the bed was thankfully comfortable, the overall experience was disappointing and I will not be staying here again.

Choice Hotels has taken over from Marriott. This hotel hasn’t lost a step. In fact, they cemented over the pool in favor of a new restaurant with outdoor dining. The staff is friendly and the rooms are very clean. We had a 2 BR Suite with full kitchen. It was an efficiency apartment. The only thing it lacked was a washer/dryer but that is easily overcome by our 2 day stay. Love that it’s centrally located near TMH, Costco and Mahan Drive and Capital Circle. Great Stay!
