I had a reservation from Friday, January 2 to Sunday, January 4. Due to an emergency, we had to leave the hotel early on Saturday, January 3 at 7:30 a.m.
That same day, we informed the front desk secretary that we needed to leave and kindly requested a refund for the second night, which we did not use. She told us she would need to consult with her manager since the reservation was made through Hotels.com.
To date, I have not received any response or resolution. I have written more than eight times, and the only reply I receive is that they are “working on it.” I have not been informed of the status of the refund, nor have I received any confirmation.
This situation has been very frustrating, and I would appreciate a clear update and resolution regarding the refund for the unused night as soon as possible.
