The room was gorgeous and spacious and the entire property was spotless. The happy hour with free coffee/tea and other non-alcoholic drinks was a nice touch. I didn't personally get the breakfast but my parents loved it.

Great new hotel in Takayama, very walkable from the Takayama train station. The rooms were very clean and the staff were among the friendliest to english speaking guests we have ever encountered in Japan. The publc bath has seperate traditional areas and a clothed mixed area, again very clean and amazing view from the top floor. Other reviews mention the sensor light being an issue in the room but it only goes off if you are standing at the front door to exit the room, was never able to set it off going to the restroom.

We really enjoyed this hotel. It was very convenient as we are using trains and buses. The onsen was great! Front desk staff was very accommodating! We highly recommend this hotel.

Staff were very friendly and helpful, the hotel is is pretty new clean and very close to the station. Did not use the onsen but looks very nice. We would definitely stay again if in the area. Short 10 minute walak to the main area with loads of restaurants and shops.

A warm welcome with a complimentary sake tasting for New Year’s morning. Very beautiful, modern, and clean. The only small drawback: there are only two small elevators to reach the reception. When a tour bus arrives, with only three people per elevator including luggage, it can take quite a long time to reach your floor.

The hotel is a brand new hotel. All the facilities are new! The room is spacious and clean. The reception staff can speak good English and handle my enquires. I stayed at the hotel for 6 nights. To my surprise, they promised to arrange every day room cleaning when I requested. I love the public thermal hot spring, we can see the stunning Takayama city view from there especially in daytime.
