5mins drive to Takaka township and 10mins to great swimming beaches and climbing spots Close to Anatoki Samon where you can catch your own Samon and have it smoked.
Takaka is know for its mountain biking, climbing, boating, hiking, live music, The Pupu Springs and general relaxing with great views, beaches and coffee shops.
Owner is a motorbiker and is happy to have biker guests. Covered storage of bikes is available. There is also room for boat parking.
Over the fence from the bus is Lambo, Donk and Lambinie. 3 sheep that love some hand fed bread or apples etc. Lambo will accept a scratch from people. But he is a Wether, but is boisterous if you get in the paddock with him. It's recommended not to go in the paddock.
The bus does not have a TV, but owner has an extra laptop if guests would like to watch a movie on Netflix etc. Guests provide their own hotspotting.
