The hostel was pretty nice itself. The hosts were sweet and helpful. I liked that there snack options that you could pay for. The showers were clean and the water was always hot! There were a couple of unsatisfactory points for me though! 1. There were too many fruit flies in the kitchen and lounge area and they were on everything including the fruits set out for breakfast (and left out after breakfast was over) and the knives used for the toast spreads. It just felt a tad bit unsanitary overall. 2. There was a fee for luggage storage after you check out. While this was a first for me, I was willing to pay the fee. The issue that I had was that although the written out directions for how to go about storing your luggage after you check out (at least the English version) say that the fee is $30, when it came time to pay, I was told I had to pay $50 with no explanation as to why. It might have been a language barrier or misunderstanding but either way, I left unsatisfied with the discrepancies with what is written and what is actually acted upon. Overall, if you're looking for a hostel with comfortable beds and nice showers, this is the place for you.

Not a room but an experience

The atmosphere was what made the stay more comfortable. I could have chosen a hotel room, but wanted to make this trip more unique and not just a room to sleep in. The staff and other travelers made the trip more enjoyable, I wilL be booking at this hostel again.

A hostel worth checking into!

Travel is easier when you find a place that welcomes you and gives you more than you need or ask for. Comfort, ease and relaxing are the things after a long day of exploring around this area was just perfect to fall into at this hostel. I rebooked for a few days after my flight to Orchid Island was cancelled. Worth the price, convenience, and more to stay here!

Good location from Taitung train station just 5 mins walk. Lovely staffs here, even volunteers, talkative and activating, knows many travel info here in Taitung city, especially Jeremy and helper Meng! Cozy stage just right outside of the main door, clean and chill pretty much stuff and info pop you can get. If you get any chance to visit Taitung you should stay here!!! Recommend!!!

Shelly the manager was really friendly and helpful. The beds are comfortable and clean. Located close to the Taitung TRA station but some way from the city centre.

Great staff

Amazing staff where they will try to individualise you and talk to you. Really make you feel like you're living in your own home. Value for money and highly recommended place to stay! Convenient from taitung station - only 6 mins away.

Close to station, warm and friendly

Short walk from the train station, which doesn't have much around it. The host was very warm, enthusiastic, and helpful in connecting travelers going to the same destinations—I ended up traveling with someone else the next day. The common area was a great place to meet people and hear their stories. The hostel also let me borrow a bike to get dinner nearby (very few options at night), otherwise it's 20min bus ride from the city center or 30min ride. The room itself was fine with small lockers. Private bathroom and shower rooms (not stalls).

８人部屋でしたが ベッド空間も部屋全体的にも狭苦しく感じることなく、過ごせました。 朝食は食パン、生卵、オレンジジュースが用意されていて セルフでの調理になります。 (と言っても、焼くだけですが) ティッシュペーパーの予備がなく 食事をとる朝などには、既に空っぽでした。 スタッフの来る11時(ﾁｪｯｸｱｳﾄ)以降、清掃と共に補充されるようでした。

良かった(セルフ朝食あり)

台東駅から徒歩5分位の場所です。 宿の方は、英語と少し日本語が通じます。 セルフサービス式の簡易朝食(食パン、ジュース、ジャム類)が前夜消灯時に1階フリースペースに置いてあります(ジャム類は冷蔵庫内)。 自分の日程に合わせて、早朝4時でも食べることが出来るので大変良かったです。 チェックアウト後、夕方の列車まで荷物を預かってもらえたので良かったです。

台東駅のすぐ近くで便利でした。それから施設は清潔感あって色々揃っていました。それから、スタッフの方が親切でフレンドリーでよかったです。入口でスリッパに履き替えて、館内ではスリッパで生活するのと、自転車を無料で借りられるのも便利でした。市街地に行く時は、台東駅からバスに乗って行けました。今回台東には1日しか行かなかったけど、また時間が取れたらもっと長くこのホステルに泊まって観光してみたいです。 The location (close to the taitung station), vibe, facility and the staff were so nice! just a few mins walk from the station and we can take bus from the staton to the downtown. Facitily was nice and clean, in addition the staff was kind and helpful. If I would have another chance to visit here, I'd like to stay at this hostel longer. Thank you:) 從台東站很近, 氣氛和設施也很好,然後服務員都很friendly /nice! 我自己來住這家地方不過有問題的時候他們常常幫我。住在這裡一天而已玩不夠，再來玩台東的時候，一定會再住這個背包旅館。謝謝妳們的服務!
