The hotel is great and relatively clean. But the hotel has shown its age after more than 25 years in operations. Breakfast is really good! There are more variety of foods than I can consume. The service is excellent!

Booked this hotel based on reviews. It was a terrible mistake. Arriving at the hotel, the parking garage was run-down, no attendants, had to walk through a maze to get to the elevator. Check-in was fine. The room was weird. Felt like a meeting room re-used as a bedroom. Weird dividing wall with curtains. Bathroom was dirty. Tub and shower was covered in mold. The included breakfast was not good. Nothing seem particularly fresh. The children playroom was old and the "Texas Bar" was a joke. All of this is forgivable, the one thing that is not, cockroaches. There were cockroaches in the room, bathroom, in the dining room at breakfast and tons of cockroaches in the front lobby.

Very different way to greet customers

I have Expedia Silver status; Naruwan is the only hotel didn’t recognise my sliver status. Also, from arrival, check in; check out to depart; there was no front door came to greet us or took our suitcase. If I compared my other 5* experience, it was the worst one. Yet, they gave me free upgraded when I expressed my concerns that my disable mother may struggle to have shower… (not until I asked)

Excellent service and quick response. Had serious water leakage in the bathroom close to midnight. After calling front desk, a staff came up and checked. He quickly resolved the problem by arranging another room for us within 15 minutes.

Front door was boarded up still after all these time has passed since the typhoon…? Reception only has 1 person working, and it was obvious that she didn’t like the fact that we interrupted whatever she was doing when we walked in. No greetings, barely an eye contact during the transaction. No info was related to us, like Wi-do password, and breakfast place and time. Staff at the breakfast buffet was not that much better. Didn’t supply any toiletries, even if you ask.

The building and the room felt “old”. It can use some update. Everything is clean and staff were friendly. It is not too close to dining options. We were able to walk 15 mins to some local eateries.

Hotel was very clean and comfortable. Loved the Japanese style toilets and the breakfast buffet was abundant. We had a room with two separate bedrooms, which is hard to find in hotels. Only con was the lack of outlets. There were only 2 in both bedrooms.

Rooms OK, but don't expect good customer service.

Deluxe Family Room was good size for family of 4. Although room was a little dated, it was clean and very comfortable. My complaints: 1 - I had to wait 15 minutes to check-in (only 2 people working on check-in desk and other members was too busy doing admin work instead of assisting their colleagues). 2 - Only buffet restaurant was opened in the evening and had no choice but to take Taxi to town for some food. (Only have 7-11 next to Hotel) 3 - Breakfast was limited and the flies hovering above the food was off putting. 4 - The staff working in the cafe area was not interested in wiping down any tables even though everybody can clearing see that there is drink spillage.
