A quite new and modern hotel, but we wished the rooms were larger. They were cramped for 2 people and impossible to maneuver in or even store your luggage. Also the bathroom was tight and what made things worse is that the tub was recessed into a deep half wall, that required a foot stool to get in and out. Not only is it dangerous and unsafe, but I'm such a tight space just complicated things. Not sure we could stay here again in the future because of this. While there was free washer and dryer access along with complimentary detergent, you cannot dry more that 5 items at a time. This is because the machines are incredibly small and inefficient at drying. Your clothes will feel steamy more than dry. You're better off paying for service at a 24h industrial laundry mat nearby. We did appreciate, however, the proximity to the transit station and to Songshan Airport (Taipei's inner city airport). There was also a shared lounge area with coffee, teas and hot water. We also appreciated the complimentary pot noodles after 1030PM (if you were ever awake and peckish at the time) as well as the Asian oatmeal in the morning.

While the CityInnPlus is a decent hotel, the value is simply not there. The room rate for 1 night was very expensive, and my expectations were that there would be nicer amenities, bigger beds, restaurants, etc. I booked a room with two beds, which were twins….very small for an adult. The room smelled musty, and even by adding an air purifier which the front desk provided after I complained, it did not really do much. I am not saying this is a bad hotel at all….my issue was that the cost/value was completely not there for me. The price was what I would pay at a 4 star property, but this is more like a 2 star hotel.

Cozy and friendly place to stay

This is my second trips to stay this hotel. People are very friendly, room is clean, late night they even offer instant noodle for you at lobby. Lobby is a very unique design. Strongly recommend to consider stay this hotel.

Ms Huang at front desk was very kind and helpful. She helped us with calling taxi, provides excellent dinning recommendations in the area. 2nd floor lounge area has large space to enjoy breakfast or snacks while wait for laundry. Having a functional and 24 hour laundry facility is very helpful for guests who travels with their families.
