Property was very attractive. Loved the beach area on Lake Tahoe. Staff were all very friendly. Lots of extras such as wine glasses, ceramic coffee cups, full size coffee pot.
It was a nice room. I was on the third floor and there isn’t an elevator, so make sure you get ground floor if you need accessible rooms. There was not an air conditioner, but there was a Vornado fan you could plug in which was plenty of air circulation. It was in the 30s to upper 40s at night outside in October and the room was insulated enough that it got warm. So we opened the door for a bit each evening and blew in some cold air with the fan and it stayed pleasant both nights we were there. It’s a nice place to stay and I’d happily stay there again.
We had the family apartment with a kitchenette which allowed us to cook some meals which was nice. The pool wasn’t in service, but we did make use of the hot tub. The location was good. We just had to cross the street to get to the lake. Overall a nice stay.
I will now be coming to Cedar Glen Lodge as much as possible! I had the greatest experience, even though I arrived late they left my key in a lockbox with instructions as I spoke to the staff over the phone. My cabin was roomy, cozy, clean, and warm in October. I absolutely loved my stay!
It’s a cute place, affordable and comfortable. The front desk person was efficient but very unfriendly. Maybe he was just having a bad day. We would definitely return.
Check in and checkout was very easy and quick. 2 different staff members and both were very nice. View across the street to the lake.was amazing. Bed was comfortable. Cabin was so cozy and cute. Definitely recommended!
Well maintained facility. Very friendly staff.
Lake view means you are in a room at 2nd floor (no elevator) nice shared balcony, and a small angle view of the lake, with obstructing yet beautiful trees.
