Summer days at the lake! Enjoy all that Lake Tahoe has to offer at the Dazzling Chalet. A renovated 3+BR/2.5BA escape on Tahoe’s West Shore is just 1 block from the lake. This spacious home features a modern kitchen, soaring ceilings, and a Cal King suite with forest views, privacy, & expansive decks in a prime location near West Shore Market, and Sunnyside Marina. Tahoe’s best waterskiing, dining, trails, bike path, & pickleball are moments away. A true magical mountain retreat.

Although the house can accommodate up to 8 guests, please note: guest numbers over six will incur an additional charge.
There's a private balcony. A kitchen is outfitted with a refrigerator, an oven, and a stovetop. Complimentary wireless internet access keeps you connected, and a Smart television is provided for your entertainment. The bathroom has a bathtub and a hair dryer. The host requires you complete the following before checking out:
Start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks, and take out the trash
Turn off the lights, lock the doors, and return the keys
Check-out time is 10 AM. As you prepare to head out, we kindly ask that you: Remove all garbage and place it in the Bear Box on the driveway. Please don’t leave any open food in the house.
Ensure that all downstairs windows and sliding doors are locked, especially the master bathroom window (be sure to slide the lock to the left). Turn on the barking dog sensor in the master bedroom.
Make sure the front door is locked and the key is returned to the lockbox. If time allows, please start the dishwasher and gather any used laundry linens in the downstairs bathroom.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

Rules

No Shoes/Boots (No Ski boots!) Policy: Kindly remove shoes upon entering to protect soft Douglas Fir floors and to prevent flooring damage.
Bear Deterrent: Activate the 'Barking Dog' sensor near the back door upon entry - always switch it on when leaving the house unattended, day or night!
Please ensure ALL garbage is placed in the bear box on the driveway before you departure.

Family ski trip

Excellent location and setting. We had 2 adults and 5 kids aged 12-19. The kitchen and family areas were all great. We spent a lot of time gathered around the kitchen table, eating and playing board games (which we found onsite). Close to skiing and the beautiful lake. Check in and check out were super easy.

Happiness on the West Shore

Our family has been coming to the West Shore area for 10 years now, and this stay was by far the most pleasantly surprising stay we have had. The location was fantastic for quick trips to Tahoe City, Tahoe House, Sugar Pine Point, and Meeks Bay. The house was very comfortable and equipped with absolutely everything we needed for our stay, and so clean and well cared for. We can’t thank the owners enough for such a wonderful week. Highly, highly recommend for small family trips. We were a family of four, and it was perfect.

The property is beautiful,a completely redone double A frame with plenty of room for a family.

The furnishings are modern yet comfortable. We all had individual space and privacy, yet wonderful areas to congregate for games and meals. Very quiet, restful area, set back from road, with two furnished decks for morning coffee or evening meals. Beds were comfortable, all was very clean, very close to Beach and hiking. Awesome kitchen! Beautiful, high end and well-supplied. Ada and Robert were easily communicated with and very helpful. We would love to stay again...my favorite Tahoe place in years. Highly recommended.

Very nice A-frame close to lake

Ada and Robert's A-frame is perfect for a family or friend's visit to Tahoe. Nice kitchen and eating area. Bedrooms and baths are comfortable. We used the grill and deck to sit outside in a quiet neighborhood setting. We'd recommend if you want walking distance to the lake and Sunnyside Restaurant has great food and drinks. Town and more good restaurants only 5 minute drive up the road. Great hiking all around the area. Ada and Robert were a phone call away to answer any questions you have! Tahoe is stunning. The off-season hiking was perfect! Squaw Valley Olympic Village is very nice too. Minimal crowds in April.
