We stayed one night. It was clean, quiet and staff was nice. I liked that I just had to walk just a few feet to have dinner. Which by the way was very very good! Oh and an easy walk across the street to the convenient store

Nice older hotel, very clean, modern room, able to park right in front of our room. Would stay there again if I were staying in Taft. Only negative is the ice maker serving the complex was not working but certainly not an issue.

You often get what you pay for. I paid very little and got very little. That was expected. The room was very small and smelled a little, but it was also clean, tidy and no insects of any kind. I was hoping for a clean cheap motel and that is exactly what it was :) I don't put 5 stars just because at 5 stars people expect things to be perfect, which it wasn't. For example, the walls are made of cardboard and you hear every single car driving by on the street behind. So bring ear plugs :)

Some pretty black and gray cats live in the area. They will not approach you if you don't call them over. Also, they do not fight with each other or make any noise. Some people feed them and pet them. I was one of those fortunate folks. That was the best part of it for me!
