This place was in the perfect location, our big family (2 adults 6 kids) all had a comfortable bed to sleep in, and the host was amazing. We had a mishap that has never happened before, one of our kids broke some pretty valuable furniture and the host was so gracious and we worked something out. The pictures are spot-on.

Family friendly and ideal place to slip in and out of York. Had a bit of a problem locating the lock box and the location said second house when it was the house on the corner. Thanks to the owner the house was clean and well equipped and it was a great place to stay. Definitely worth 5 stars. Maybe a note about where to put rubbish could also be helpful. Thank you.

Our host was easy to message and replied straight away. The whole house was very clean. There was a dog cage available and throws on the sofa, I always take and use my own. The stair gate was a boon to stop little ones or dogs from going up. Our family aged between 67 & 90 and we used it as a base to explore the area.The stairs are quite steep and my mother found it hard going up due to her age and the bathroom is upstairs. There is a small back yard but lovely walks almost on doorstep.
