The privately run Auberge Tabarz is a villa dating back to the era of the Tabarz “summer visitors” around 1880. After a century of ups and downs, it has been lovingly restored and is now available to you as an exceptional vacation home.

The 85-square-meter Zimmerberg apartment, featuring a large terrace balcony, has two bedrooms with large double beds and a tastefully furnished kitchen-dining area with a sitting area.
The spacious hallway with parquet flooring and a writing desk invites you to linger, as does the cozy nook in the connecting room, where two full-size beds can be used as additional sleeping arrangements.
From the terrace, you can enjoy a wonderful view of the countryside and the city. Here, after an eventful day of vacation, you can watch the sunset with a good glass of wine and enjoy a first-class meal with your family.

Our house is in a perfect location—central yet very quiet:
It’s just 500 meters to the city center with all its shops and two cafés
The edge of the forest is only 250 meters away
The Thüringer Waldbahn train stop is 450 meters away (tickets are included in the Tabarz city visitor’s tax)
The TABBS (recreational and wellness center with a sauna) is a 10-minute walk away. Admission for 1.5 hours per day is included free of charge in the visitor’s card!
Bad Tabarz has been known for its hospitality since 1880 and spoils its guests with numerous offerings and activities—open-air cinema – concerts – exhibitions – readings, and much more
