The only reason I booked this hotel was to use the pool and Hot tub. They were both broken down and the very nice desk person informed us upon arrival that they had been down for a whole week already and they have no idea when either would be fixed. There were pieces of wrapers on the floor next to the bed in our room, the bathroom door had clear sign of water damage and had swollen the door so when it rubbed to shut it scraped sawdust onto the floor and the toilet was wobbly and not sealed to the floor, you could see a shim under it! The Holiday in express used to stand for a quality hotel with exemplary amenities. I guess that's not the case any more. I wont be back

Upon arrival we were disappointed because we booked this hotel for the pool and hot tub and we informed they were broke down and had been for a month !! This should have been conveyed when making reservation ! We were told we could cancel with full refund and go somewhere else ! Yeah right on a Fri afternoon in a major city Syracuse NY. Just disappointed! We had a leaking toilet but the staff was vey accommodating getting us a new room and with perks (bottle of wine and candy) the rooms are very nice and clean and accommodating! The breakfast was delightful one the best we had ! This is the second time in month we’ve booked with Expedia and have had problems!

Room was clean, staff were very nice, they had a great restaurant and bar. The food was amazing for bar food. You must get the huge stuffed tater tots and chicken tenders. The pool was a bit cool but the hot tub was amazing. We did not pay for the breakfast so I can't say anything about it. The walk in shower was slippery. We got a room with a one plate stove , nice size fridge and microwave and sink. I really appreciated this as I brought my 3 grandkids. Don't hesitate to book you will not be disappointed.
