We loved this place. A real step back in time to a grand old hotel with lovely spacious rooms and a great menu. Staff were lovely and helpful. Our room was more than big enough for three people with a separate room for the third person so could easily have just gone for one room rather than two.

The hotel is situated in a wonderful location, with beautiful surroundings that made our stay particularly enjoyable. The breakfast was a little below our expectations, and some of the amenities could benefit from updating. However, these were minor issues, and overall we had a very pleasant stay and would happily return.

It’s a great hotel with free parking. Location is very convenient. One thing not so great is that there isn’t any coffee machine, kettle or any other standard equipment. For this level the hotel is, it is very unusual. Other than that, it’s not a bad one.
