Hello and a warm welcome to the “Mare Nostrum 10” vacation rental. It’s located on the second floor of a small apartment building right near the beach, behind the dunes of Westerland. With 50 square meters of space and a separate bedroom, it’s perfect for a cozy getaway for two, but can also accommodate four people, as the comfortable couch in the living room—which opens onto the kitchen—folds out into a full-size double bed for a really good night’s sleep. The open-concept kitchen-living room (painted “Vanilla”) is fully equipped; the balcony is furnished for summer use; and a private parking space (in the underground garage) as well as a shared washer and dryer are also available. The icing on the cake for this apartment is its truly great location: It’s less than ten minutes from this quiet street to the bustling downtown area, with all its shopping options, quaint pubs, and attractive restaurants. And if you like to swim in the ocean before breakfast, you can theoretically “just walk over” to the beach in your swimsuit—it’s less than two minutes away.
Don’t have a Latin certificate? Admittedly, very few of our guests do either. “Mare Nostrum” means “our sea”; it once referred to the Mediterranean and here on the island stands for a truly attractive apartment building where we manage all 12 units.
