If you’re looking for a vacation home that isn’t too far from the town of Westerland but still offers the atmosphere of a small village, the island village of Tinnum is definitely a good choice. This tastefully furnished section of the house, “Lieblings Hüs,” impresses with its lovely details, a large garden, and plenty of space for the whole family.

The living area features a large sofa corner with a flat-screen TV and floor-to-ceiling windows that let the Sylt sun shine in. The dining table seats up to six people, and the kitchen is fully equipped with an induction cooktop, oven, dishwasher, and Nespresso machine. From the living/dining area, you can access your private garden with two furnished terraces, including two sun loungers (April through October). On the same level as the living area, you’ll also find a guest restroom.

On the upper floor of the house, you’ll find two bedrooms, each with a double bed and a flat-screen TV, as well as two bathrooms—one featuring a bathtub, shower, and toilet, and the other offering a shower and toilet.

Need a suggestion for an outing with your kids? In the resort town of Tinnum, you’ll find the “Tinnumer Tierpark.” It has been run for years by a family who lovingly cares for the animals and the grounds. The donkeys, ponies, deer, and ducks especially enjoy rusks, which you can purchase for a small fee at the entrance.
