The room was comfortable, with a couch and king bed, but there were some odd things too. A kitchenette with crockery, glasses and cutlery but no washing up things or a bin. The other frustrating thing was I had signed in to one of my streaming services but the hotel's internet connection kept dropping out. Someone fixed it once but it kept happening again and again so in the end I just gave up.

Clean, central, lovely lobby. The staff were super friendly and helpful with my every need. The room was tiny, but I did book a micro queen! Still a very nice bathroom. After arriving off a 24hr flight I needed somewhere peaceful and quiet to base my stay from and Veriu Central delivered.

Had small QB room which was very nice inside and made good use of the small space. The staff were very helpful. Overall a very pleasant stay with hotel well located and close to a lot of restaurants and 300m to the light rail.

Breakfast was actually from The Basket Brothers, which is right next door, actually part of the same building as Veriu Central. You can order online and they’ll bring you the food. And it was good. I will say this: Australians need to learn how to turn the toaster down.

A nice little hotel, rooms small but still decent, but very poor housekeeping which left me feeling very disappointed and would only recommend staying if it was for one or two nights. Out of a 9 night stay, I felt like I only had 1 day that housekeeping did an acceptable job. And the lift/foyer area really needs a good clean, every surface was very dirty and wasn’t touched the whole time I was there.

On check in TV found not to be working. Staff being unable to fix the problem moved me to s different room, with no view and little natural daylight. Rooms very small, even for one person. Hotel has few onsite facilities. Carpets particularly in room corridors are grubby and stained. Subsequently found bites on my legs, which turned out to be bed bugs! pioutsideputsideoutside,
