We didn't get told the air conditioner was broken until the check-in email hours before the check in time.
I would never have booked if I had known this, considering it was a very cold and rainy winter.
Cheap space heater was not adequate at all for heating the property or even a single room, and it was 15⁰c everyday and all day for the days that we were there.
We had to live in blankets when at the property, so eventually ended up spending as little time at the property as possible.
If you have to leave at the normal check in time on the weekend, scrap that idea. The place you have to drop the keys off a few blocks away doesn't even open until 12pm, and your checkout time is 10am.
You end up having to get permission to leave the keys at the house, but this means you have to park your car out onto the street with the keys to be able to exit the carpark. Then you have to go back into the apartment to drop them off and email a pic of the keys.
No bin liners, no salt, no pods for coffee machine, no detergent for the dishwasher.
So many corners cut and unnecessary stress added.
Id have accepted everything as okay, but every issue was heightend by the fact that it was constantly 15⁰ or below in the property.
