Room was clean and comfortable. Bed was on the softer side just in case you like firm, fyi. Pool area was adequate. Ray makes the best $3 coffees in lobby. Restaurant had good food and don’t pass on the Whipped Ricotta and honey entree. Staff super nice and pleasant. Great location for exploring large fish market or QVB. Longer walk(40 min), but can to Circular Quay and the Rocks. Train/ Light Rail near by is also an easy option. Would stay here again!

First time stay. I loved everything about this hotel - convenience to the sightseeing, quiet surroundings because the location is slightly off of the busy road, and view from the window was great too. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Front desk staff named Vee tried to force us into signing up for the hotel group's membership, saying it was "mandatory". When we couldn't get the log in to work and told her we were happy to wait until our normal check in time (which was in 20 minutes), she said don't worry about it. I have never ever had front desk staff try to force me into signing up for a hotel membership, it was always suggested for benefits like early check in. Needless to say this experience has really soured the first impressions of the hotel and its staff.

The alarm rang a few times when I was sleeping. I did not know how to turn it off, so I rang the hotel staff to come to pick up the alarm. No one came. Not enough lifts at the morning peak hours. Had to walk downstairs.

We had two meals in the restaurant, which were quite good. One was lunch and it was excellent and the other breakfast which was among the best we’ve ever had in a hotel.
