Great location, thats what you are paying for

The location was amazing, the accommodation was was very old when you move our of the reception area with terribly stained carpet with holes in it. In the studio there was no oven, plates, bowels so had to purchase these to use! There was very limited cutlery as well. The staff were lovely!

Location was brilliant - right in the heart of the Rocks and close to all amenities. Views of Sydney Opera House and harbour were also fabulous. The rooms are very spacious. Staff were very friendly and super helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

Apartment was very tired and dated. Well worn/tired carpet, furniture and bathroom.(paint peeling in bath & walls) Outdoor balcony area was littered with cigarette butts & generally unkept. Great view,but property doesn’t represent value for money with the rundown condition of the apartment. Desperately needs a urgent refresh.

This property is very close to everything in the rocks. On the flip side, if you want a king or superior king room you will get two single beds put together which was uncomfortable. We paid a lot of money for 1 night as we don’t travel often and about the only good thing was the shower pressure but it wasn’t very clean. The rooms are outdated and they don’t have room service. Our room phone has been unplugged and this took a while to work out before we could contact reception. No usb charging ports in the room either so you will have to take your whole charger for a phone. This was disappointing for the price we paid.

We had a pleasant stay at the Rendezvous Hotel. Communication through Hotels.com was excellent — the staff responded promptly and were helpful throughout our booking. The room was comfortable and well-equipped with a fridge, microwave, and basic essentials, making our stay convenient. We also appreciated the on-site laundry room (open 6 AM to 9 PM), though be aware it’s coin-operated — coins are available at the front desk. The gym was a nice bonus for keeping up with our routine. The highlight was definitely the balcony, offering stunning views of the bridge and Opera House — a perfect spot to relax. The only downside was when a cruise ship docked, it completely blocked the Opera House view. Also, while the room was clean overall, the carpet was very dated and looked worn, and could use an update to match the rest of the space. Overall, a good stay with fantastic views and a great location!
