We didn't expect the very strong bad sardine smell in our room 212 at Ibis Thornleigh. We were going to request another room but I turned the shower onto full and tap over the sink to fast and let the run for a while. That seemed to clear the smell. We had a good sleep and left early for home. We will probably stay there again I'm sure due to it easy access to the M1

Kind of like a really dirty caravan

Kind of looked like a murder scene had taken place in the room. Also the bathroom is like having a porta loo in your room. You have to lock yourself in this tiny cupboard to shower and if you open the door and the steam sets off an alarm they charge you $1500
