Conveniently located 5-6 mins walk from a travel show event we were attending, over the road from Hyde Park, a lush green view from our small balcony. From the eighth floor, with the sliding door closed, there was no noticeable traffic noise. Reverse cycle heating and cooling unit over the dining table was very welcome on a humid evening.
Good size built-in wardrobe with drawers. Great water pressure in the shower with liquid body wash in the wall attached bottle. Liquid hand wash was in an attached bottle next to the basin, much better than cakes of soap. Large TV with Netflix access too.
The small kitchen was an unexpected bonus of the large room (that could sleep 3), thankful for it. There was a standard size oven and 4 hotplate stovetop, equipped with usual plates, cookware, cutlery, mugs and glasses, toaster, kettle, tea, coffee and sugar sachets, biscuit packs. Continental breakfast in the bar fridge which was replenished daily included slices of white and wholemeal bread, 3× 300ml cartons of milk, 3 x small sachets of cereal, individual condiment portions, fruit tubs.
Extra pillows on the wardrobe shelf helped to supplement existing one on the beds.
We would happily recommend staying at Hyde Park Inn. Friendly efficient service at reception with great recommendations for dining.
