Dirty sheets;no milk with tea/coffee; only a sink as the basin i.e. shaving, handwashing post toilet and dish washing in the same basin; shower so close to toilet, its spray collected under toilet and meant exited shower onto toilet; only one soap and one towel; housekeeping only once in three nights despite reception saying it is daily and did not make bed; very noisy with thin walls so could hear neighbours and movement above; exiting the hotel on day 2 and I was met by police coming in (no member of staff with them); people living in the hotel, not guests, attract the police attending; on day 1, laundry from hotel strewn across footpath.

It was super easy to get around with this as home base. It was also really nice to have a sink in the room. AC was delightful after a long day outside in the sun. Very easy to find if you are arriving at the Central Station & you basically walk straight up the main street to get to the main tourist spots. Rooms were older, but clean and I was pleasantly surprised by how much I liked the mattress. Glad they also included a "Do Not Disturb" sign for those days you're having a nap or something & don't need anything done.

The entrance and stairs and the rooms are run down but reasonably clean. Checkin staff helpful explaining the facilities. For a short stay the location and price were very good.

Absolutely brilliant! It is a great place to stay, friendly staff, It is not a fancy hotel & the rooms are quite plain, however there is Complimentary tea & coffee & a bar fridge that kept drinks nice & cold, the location is very convenient, it is across the road from central station, Woolworths is a 100m walk, plenty of local pubs for a drink or a meal. Fantastic value for money & I really loved my stay, I highly recommend staying here, The only down side is a few flights of stairs to get to the 2nd floor, no elevator, but it is not too bad. A bedside lamp would be nice for the rooms too, as the overhead fluro light is quite bright. I would gladly stay here again if in Sydney.

Good location. Need to improve the cleanliness of the bathroom, the bathroom door is jammed so hard to open and close the door, the room smelled as well. Additionally, reception attendant should be available at the desk day time other than keeping notes on the door!
