Escape the city without leaving it. Mr Muddy Lion is a beautifully private boutique cottage nestled in a lush garden setting at the back of our family home in Leichhardt — one of Sydney's most loved inner-west neighbourhoods.

Fully self-contained and private, the cottage is perfect for couples or solo travellers, with room for a third guest on the air bed.

The Cottage Includes:
Queen bedroom with quality linen, drawers and side cabinets
Lounge with 4-seater couch, smart TV, Netflix and WiFi
Kitchenette with pod coffee machine, fridge/freezer, microwave, hotplate, rice cooker, toaster, kettle, full cookware and utensils
Bathroom with walk-in shower, toilet and vanity
Washing machine, dryer, iron and ironing board
Extra sleeping: single and double inflatable mattresses available for a third guest

Outdoors:

What an incredibly safe, clean, comfortable and relaxing place to stay! Honestly, we wanted for nothing and nothing was an impost to Megan. I travelled a a very long way with my dog for a specialist veterinarian appointment and ended up needing to check earlier than planned. Without any notice at all I reached out to Megan and her reply was almost immediate, and no hesitation to allow us to do that. Megan is an incredible host. So caring and genuine. This stay had it all; The optional extras like the the onsite spa treatment and optional gourmet cooked breakfast with fresh juice, and the the private court yard with pool and bbq, the linen, the bed, oversized shower, dark face wash cloths to remove make up even.. so very well thought out. Guests will want for nothing here. Location in proximity to the city and beaches is superb too.Ample parking street side and the street is a generous width (more like country town sized streets). It's a calm, clean, friendly neighbourhood. Close to the water too. Loved our stay here. My dog was completely comfortable and relaxed here too; very rarely a thing at all for her. This will forever be my No. 1 stay option for Sydney.
