Brand new luxury in the Poconos

This is a new hotel that is conveniently located near Mt. Pocono. The hotel is well designed, and the decor is stunning. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We stayed on the concierge level, which provided breakfast and sushi, drinks and other snacks at lunch and pre-dinner. The rooms are very clean, with a modern design and a comfortable bed. Numerous outlets for charging (all types). The bathroom is nice with lots of high-end amenities. The glass shower frame could be larger to prevent water from splashing onto the floor. The fitness space is small but has free weights and some equipment. The saltwater pool is not large but it is heated and is both indoor and outdoor. It can get crowded, however, adult-only after 5 PM. On-site restaurant is nice, but there are several close by options within a few miles for variety. Also, only a few miles from Mt Airy Casino for more nighttime entertainment. In short, new hotel, in great location, perfect for short getaway.

There are a lot of activities in driving distance to the property. However, I would say the dining options are a bit restricted in the area and a little overpriced for the quality. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was absolutely beautiful.

I was really disappointed . There was a 300$ hold per night , the vibe was not poconos and nothing about it seeeme luxury . For 1/3 the price and better service and room we should have stayed at a Hampton Inn .

We had an awesome time at Swiftwater Hotel! The atmosphere was relaxing, the rooms were comfortable, and the amenities made our stay really enjoyable. The staff was friendly and accommodating, which made the experience even better. The only drawback was the dining area — while the food was good, it was a little distracting having people walking through the space while we were eating. Aside from that, everything else was wonderful, and we would definitely return!

I booked this hotel as a much needed getaway from the city for my husband and I. After sifting through many other options, I am beyond happy that I chose Swiftwater. Check in with Darius went well! I originally booked the double queen room since it was within my budget… we got there and my husband asked if a king was available, it was not… however, in my ten minutes of standing at the front desk I received 3 missed calls from the hotel. I enquired of Darius if the hotel is trying to call me, he said that he would check with the back and when he returned mentioned that he had great news for us. We were going to be upgraded to the executive floor with a King bed, complimentary robes and slippers, and access to a 21+ lounge that was going to be available 24 hours with bites, sushi, drinks etc. This was such a divine intervention because on the car ride there I was praying for a nice stay for us. This exceeded our expectations and the staff was extremely helpful and friendly! We were escorted to our room and given a tour of the lounge along with dining options outside of the hotel. The rooms are clean and beautiful and we saw deer every day we were there. It was a very serene and peaceful experience. The pool area is remarkable with adult only access between 5-10pm which we appreciated since we normally travel with our two kids! We ate dinner one night at Olivet which is located inside the restaurant which felt like we were at a fancy resort. Food and atmosphere was perfect!

The stay was very nice overall. The hotel staff were great, professional, welcoming, and very knowledgeable. My only complaint is with the seasonal menus. As it was explained to me, not much consideration went into offering vegan or vegetarian options on the current menu, which was disappointing. On a brighter note, we were able to explore the area and found a wonderful restaurant nearby that served an excellent brunch.
