"We had a lovely long weekend at the Owl's Nest. Pearle and David were excellent hosts, with great communication throughout the entire process. They were very concerned that everything was to our expectations and that we had the best time. The cabin is very cozy and is complete with anything you could possibly need during your stay. They have a ton of board games and activities around the grounds such as basketball, hop scotch, frisbee golf and even axe throwing! The grounds are lovely, offering unexpected themed walking paths, offering a tribute to the Beatles, Alice in Wonderland, fun frogs and a fairly village. And the outdoor hot tub is heavely! They are currently building an outdoor Swedish sauna which will be the best. David and Pearle even made a point of ensuring that their boat dock was in place in time for our visit, knowing that we were bringing our boat with us. I rate this property 1000 out of 100! Great rental. We will definitely be making a return trip soon. Thank you so much Pearle and David! "

"This is a great place to stay if you, like I, wanted to stay at clean, comfortable place at DCL that includes a hot tub and direct access to the lake. Our family had a great time fishing, paddle boarding, paddle boating and kayaking at the lake. I caught some nice bass right there at the beach. A night time campfire was most enjoyable and the hot tub was absolutely perfect. We did have a bit of rain on day 2, but that left us with a day to play board games and hit some shops in town. Our host sent us entrance instructions that were very clear. Checking out was just as easy. We hope to stay at this location in future for our visits to DCL!"

"We had a wonderful stay! Everything we needed was provided exactly as stated in the agreement, and we were pleasantly surprised by how clean the place was. It truly felt like a home away from home. The location was also very convenient, especially being so close to the water. My family and our dogs absolutely enjoyed our stay. We would 100% recommend it!"

"A perfect getaway for family! We had so much fun at the lake- fishing and swimming. The hot tub was also very popular after time at the lake:) The house had ample space and was well stocked -lots of room to spread out! The kids loved the game room in the basement and the deck outside was a great place to sit and talk. We are definitely talking about coming back next year. "This property was well worth the money we paid for it. Breathtaking view of the Lake. For a lakefront property, all others don't compare! A few things need some attention such as, the upstairs fireplace does not come on and we had a few days of below freezing temperatures. Had to up the setting on the whole house furnace, which worked very well by warming up the house quickly. One of the downstairs showers (angle one) leaks pretty badly when using, and the shower head is very loose. For a dog-friendly house, there is essentially no yard to take our pet out to. And the driveway going down to the house is very tricky to navigate. But we had a good time in a very lovely and clean house with a well furnished kitchen. (The icemake doesn't spit out ice, just water). Would visit this house again in the future."
