This was such a unique concept that I was really looking forward to. The Glamping dome was spacious and decently appointed. The bathroom is big, the beds were comfortable, and the view was very pretty. However, the heating source was not big enough to properly heat the Glamping dome. We attempted to get a good nights sleep with an inside temperature of 44 degrees. It was awful. I would’ve loved to have warmed up by taking a hot shower, but I didn’t even want to take my clothes off to do that! It was so incredibly cold that I had to turn the heat on in my car and sit until my hands we are warm enough and flexible enough to be operable. I would’ve liked to of shared this with the innkeeper in the morning, but when I went to return my key, there was no one at the desk. I would really like to request some compensation for this very uncomfortable inconvenience. The Glamping dome was advertised as being heated. I do not consider 44° as he heated. I dont usually leave reviews. I always read them, so I know their value. Ive struggled for the past month about leaving this review. I feel this needs to be said. We booked this place for our mother/daughter birthday. We always try to do at least one thing every trip that we've never done before. We booked the "glamping" room. We arrived by 6:30pm.The gentleman was just leaving, but he inconveniently showed us our unit. I will say the ser up was really cool.Temperatures were to plummit this night. We put our things in the unit and left to eat. When we returned, it was freezing in unit. The heater was above one of the beds, so I went to adjust the heat while my daughter took a shower. No hot or warm water for her. We also had dirty sheets and a dirty towel in between sheets. Disgusting! Long story shortened,the heater did not work. It only blew cold air and the remote needed for it, had dead batteries. I immediately called them and got their answering machine.(this is about 8 to 830 pm) I left a detailed message...we have no heat, it is now in the 20s outside and would they please come fix the unit or move us to another. We put on all our clothes along with our winter coats and every blanket. We called for 2 hours with no response. It appeared they blocked our calls.Who treats their paying guest like this? We could not sleep there. We still have never heard from them.No apology, no refund, no customer courtesy! Not a Word! I would NEVER stay there!! Look elsewhere to sleep!

I want to give this property a great rating, but unfortunately, because of the condition of the Rain Song Room, I cannot. Cobwebs on the ceiling, moldy shower curtain, coffee cups that had been used and a pull-out couch mattress that couldn't be used = unacceptable. BUT, I'd still be willing to try one of the clamping domes or the main house, so that says something about the parts we did enjoy.

This hotel would be much better if it was better staffed and maintained. We waited 1/2 hour after ordering dinner at the cafe, only to find out it would be another 30 minutes. We cancelled and went to our room to eat popcorn and soup we had packed. Room was dusty and had bugs.

The place was very nice clean, very friendly staff. The night we started they were fully occupied which required reservations at the on site restaurant, the staff quickly took our reservation and slowed us to book it in the bar. The bar was not attached to the main house but was down next to the river which made for a nice view and surroundings. The food was good served hot and a decent variety on the menu. I would definitely stay here again. One thing to note there is no off street parking and since they were fully booked parking was a challenge.

Lack of off-street parking. Staff were extremely rude. Basic amenities not provided and when told about this, received rude responses. Accommodations were very damp, musty-smelling, and not acceptable to stay there. Lack of proper heating besides 2 small plug-in heaters.

We stayed in The glamping tents which are nice but…. Person that checks you in wasn’t there, not enough towels, had to ask for toilet paper, no coffee in the room, no paper towels, running sawmill close by for noise. My son left his pillow, I emailed several times with no response, even though it states in their auto email reply that they will mail any left behind objects back to you. It’s a good concept but poorly run facility.

Our suite was locked. When we finally reached someone, we were told that it should be unlocked and just go in. The communication was through text so we had to text again and let them know it was definitely locked.and then wait for them to read their text. When they finally responded , they said they could not come unlock the door but would contact someone else. We had to wait more than 30 minutes for someone to come unlock the door. The manager said that he would give us a discount for having to wait. He was nice. We did not get a discount. We have been texting and calling for 2 weeks. After the first reply they have not replied again. The phone remains unanswered. Our credit card has been charged the full original price. Text are not answered. We had a deck. A chair on the deck was broken. The deck was dirty. The TV would not work. They sent someone to fix it. She was nice. She fixed the TV , but it took so long that we were ready for bed by the time it was fixed. We did at least have it for the rest of our stay. The listing says daily housekeeping , but we did not have that and did not have enough towels. Our suite was cold. They said the suite attached to ours had the central air control but we could turn on the wall unit heater in our bedroom. I would not stay again.
