The rooms are clean, comfortable and spacious. The daily housekeeping was especially welcome. I've stayed in many hotels in the Bay Area that only had maid service every few days, and even getting fresh towels can be a hassle. At Baymont, the room was always spotless by lunchtime. Staff is friendly and helpful, and the heaters work great... which is a big deal on sub-freezing nights. This is now my first choice when staying in Susanville for work.

Pet-friendly was important! Laminate floors are easy to clean - great for pets. There's no great potty area - you have to navigate broken glass in strips of dirt and grass along the street behind the hotel - but it worked for us. The room was updated and clean, staff was great and ohlther guests were friendly and courteous!

This is probably an older motel, but very recently remodeled. The laminate floors that don't retain dirt like carpet are nice in an area that gets snow often and i really appreciated that the heat was turned on beforeI i arrived so the room was warm.

Room was very clean and updated, bed was comfortable with nice pillows. A small refrigerator was handy, and there was a nice selection of toiletries. Shower was good. Heater worked well. In the morning I had a thick slice of hot buttered raisin toast in the breakfast room before checking out. Overall a completely satisfying booking.
