Overlooks the lake, while still a block (13 houses) from the beach. Spacious 4 bedrooms sleeps 14 comfortably (16 with sleeper sofa). Large kitchen for meal preps and lots of seating in the living room. Dining table seats 12, add two more chairs at end of table for dinner for 12. Private and tranquil area due to more space from neighboring homes. Lots of deck space out front and on the side to take advantage of or escape the sun. Enjoy your morning coffee on the front deck watching the swans or take a short walk to enjoy a quiet morning walk on the beach. Send the kids out to fish in the lake while you watch from the deck.

We are also dedicated to making our guests stay as enjoyable as possible and we are constantly upgrading the accommodations . Upgraded appliances etc reduce the chances of breakdowns which are a big inconvenience for our guests. We can't prevent every inconvenience but we do our best to make sure it doesn't happen.

Dog Friendly- great location since there is actual green space for your little guy to use the bathroom. Many locations are a bit of walk to find an area the dog can use. 1. Ocean Lakes will not accept pit bulls or rotties. 2. Poop and Scoop or a fine will be charged by Ocean Lakes.

Don't forget to bring your golf clubs!

One of the amazing things about an Ocean Lake's vacation is how much money you will save. There is no need to go to a waterpark and pay $40 each and have no reprieve from the heat and noise. Ocean Lakes has everything you need to keep entertained included in your lodging price . Footsteps to the ocean, a short walk to the Water Park. You can swim in the large resort pool, enjoy the kiddy splash zone, race down the 2 slides, lounge in the lazy river, hit the indoor pool or miniature golf, arcade, basketball courts, beach volleyball, shuffleboard, skate park, recreation center, and nature center. Forgot something there's a well stocked store, or eat n greet where you can enjoy an ice cream or pizza , fries you name it they have it.

If you must leave the park, you are close to the core of Myrtle Beach or escape to quaint Murrell's Inlet. Flying in 10 min from the airport and downtown.

Ocean Lakes Family Campground is 24 Hr Security Gated Beach Resort.....

Ocean Lakes has a large security team and they are committed to ensuring the property remains a family-friendly vacation area. They issue tickets for playing music too loudly, lewd music, loud music on golf-carts, drinking on golf carts. They will come to the unit if there is partying going on and can decide to evict. It won’t end up being a good time. If you are looking for a party place, don’t waste your money and have your trip cut short, find a place that is party- friendly.

Long term renters are welcome, off season. Monthly rates are available upon request.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay ! The house is very spacious and clean . The beds were comfortable . We really loved sitting on the front deck and listening to the fountain in the small lake right across from the house . The side deck was perfect for barbecuing , plenty of seat room for a large group . The kitchen is well equipped ! The house is very close to the beach and all the amenities that Ocean Lakes offers . Shannon was the perfect host . We will definitely stay again !

This was our 3rd time renting from Shannon for 10 days in October and each time it’s been great. We love the house and the location of the house. Great place for family to gather

We had a wonderful stay with our adult kids and their spouses and our kids that live at home. We have a 16 year age difference between our oldest and youngest so it was nice to be under one roof again and everyone spend time together. Kitchen was well stocked, plenty of seating at table, bedrooms had enough variation that everyone found their spot. Great location close to the beach.

Gray family getaway 2025

We had a great location for the house. Right across from one of the waters to fish in. Kids rode there bikes and we were only a 2 min walk from the beach. We had a bed for all 12 of us along with great living and dining areas. Porch on the front was great to watch the fishing and the side deck was great for grilling with comfortable patio furniture on both. I would definitely stay at the Mac house again!

The dogs love it!

We’ve stayed at this property multiple times. We bring our two dogs and it’s so perfect! There is a quick place to walk them right out front. There are trash receptacles and waste bags not far away. The beach is a short walk and the beds are comfy!

The property had everything we were looking for. It was a nice space and close to fishing and to the beach. Only downside was 2 bathrooms. Which was fine for six of us. But it could be chaotic for a group of ten or more

Great Location

Our week was great! A few glitches on check-in day, but Shannon was quick to respond and resolve the issue. Within just a little bit of time, everything was taken care of. The house was very clean and the location was great. The layout fit all 8 of us and the new washer/dryer got plenty of use. Also makes for less packing and suitcases! Overall, a 5 star location. And 5 star customer service!

Love the house and location. The only issue was the cleaning crew should mop the floors because bottoms of our feet showed that floors weren’t clean. I have talked to others that have had a similar problem in their beach house. I used multiple wet swiffer cloths on our floors and cloths were very dirty after cleaning.

Family Trip

Property was just what we needed. Close to all amenities, without being too loud. Nice are across street to walk dogs. 2 decks were wonderful, one stayed shaded most of day and other was a great moening spot over looking the pond. Shannon was great at solving issue with door lock, ahw answered immediately. Will definitely look at staying there again. Only negative was the cleaning crew prior to check in could have been better, to which Shannon said she would address, nothing to dampen our vacation though. Thank you again for sharing your lovely beach house.

Nice house, convenient location

The owners are super nice and very quick to respond to questions or concerns. They update various things often. The house is cleaned by a service and they don’t do the best job. This year there were no comforters on the bunk beds in one of the rooms. It didn’t really bother us or affect our stay, so not an issue. We are a little picky so we end up cleaning things ourselves. That said this is NOT the only house at Oceanlakes like this. Every house we’ve stayed in has been the same way. That said we this is the second year we’ve returned to this house for our stay. Owner communication means a lot to us and they are very responsive.

Great property!!

We usually go to Ocean Lakes every October for 10 days for vacation and all of the Halloween festivities. This house is exactly what we were looking for. It’s pet friendly and very convenient to walk the dogs with the pond and grassy area just across the street. Also, just a short walk to the beach. The house is also big enough so that you can gather with everyone else or have a little privacy when needed. The kitchen is well stocked with all types of items you would need to cook a meal. We really enjoyed sitting on the balcony watching the ducks and geese in the pond. Our time there went by entirely too quickly and we were sad to have to leave. I’ve actually already booked it for our trip next October.

Several pros and cons: Pros House is within walking distance to the beach Nice view of the pond Nice porches - one has shade all day from the tree and is enjoyable Plenty of living space, kitchen ware, crook pot, both a regular coffee pot and Keureg in the kitchen Cons Lots of traffic passing in front and both side street of the house Steep stairs - won’t recommend if you have bad knees Wall paper in upstairs bathroom needs replacing - starting to peel lose Table on porch is starting to show some rust Outside shower was full of sand, pails Seems campground security wasn’t enforcing loud and profanity music rules Daily parking rate is $12.00 a day and not $10.00 as advertised
