This historic hotel is maintained the grandeur of colonial architecture and the friendliness of the staff. Everyone is very polite, friendly and very helpful. Breakfast is amazing. Indonesian breakfast is one of the best in my opinion. I definitely will come back and stay longer

Old-school, classic hotel full of heritage and history, a hidden gem in the hot area of Surabaya. It has friendly staff, good maintenance and very good breakfast. The things one may complain are also associated with the age of this hotel, for example, the rooms mostly have the only window at the entrance side due to the old buiding design, and the kids may find it slightly boring due to the lack of fun facilities usually found in modern hotels, but who can pass the opportunity to live where legends like Charlie Chaplin once stayed?
