Very Disappointing

This was our worst experience with a rental property. The house was very dirty, roaches were crawling around, the dishes were dirty, the gate was too hard to open for my wife and teen children, and the house was very aged. There was some fun decor in the house and the living room furniture was comfortable. The best part of the house was the sunroom, but you had to go through the master bedroom to get to it. We were not expecting to have to wash all the dishes we were going to use before we even used them. There was food on a lot of dishes we pulled out. Also there were roaches crawling around the kitchen and bedrooms. The air filter just inside the main entry was caked in dust, so I’m sure the air we were breathing was not great. Our overall stay was not a pleasant one. Also the pictures on the listing are outdated and don’t give a great idea of the layout and state of this rental. We would not recommend and will not be booking this property again.

Misleading and Cockroaches...

Extremely misleading listing. The photos are cute, but the reality is very different. This home is located in the center of a questionable trailer park. When we arrived, siding was falling off, and there were two active hornet nests. A cockroach ran across the doorway when we opened the door. The kids' room had sand on the floor, an unstable bunk bed, and a ceiling fan dangerously close to the ladder. Hooks hung from the ceiling—clearly not safe for children.The living room chair was torn, water stains marked the tables, and there was hair on the carpet. The primary bathroom toilet didn’t even flush.When we told the host we wouldn’t be staying, they offered to send maintenance—on our vacation. We didn’t save all year to sleep with cockroaches or have strangers fixing serious issues while we tried to relax.The owner denied a full refund, offering just 50%, citing the inability to rebook. In the end, we received only 37%.They expected us to stay during pest control, plumbing, and cleaning services—completely unreasonable. Avoid this property unless you enjoy stressful vacations, surprise repairs, and unwelcome critters.

Great place for our family!

There were plenty of kitchen, utensils, and Tupperware to use! The Bedasse were extremely comfortable! We loved the game area and the fenced in backyard was perfect for our dog! There were also plenty of beach items, games, chairs, and toys in the shed, which was easily accessible! The hot tub was a great feature as we went in April where the evenings were still chilly! We also brought our golf cart as there are many many roads to ride around and the neighborhood!

House great Vacasa was not.

Stay was great and as described, we did enjoy the hot tub and our dogs were comfortable there and had plenty of fun in area to enjoy. I also enjoyed the way the place was decorated. Very cute. However, the negative was the property management company was nearly impossible to deal with before getting to our destination and almost ruined our entire vacation by continuously contacting us electronically by mistake.

Perfect Home For Dog Lovers

This house was perfect for our little family with 2 kids and 2 dogs. Decor was lovely and furniture was comfortable. House was clean and tidy and very spacious for its size. We really appreciated the fenced in yard for our fur babies. We look forward to staying again!

Great for pets

1st time in Holden, the parking was probably the worst part of staying in Holden Beach, its a 5 or so minute drive from Supply to the beachside. The house was comfy 3 adults and 2 mid sized dogs. The shed had all we needed for a day at the beach. There is no nightlife whatsoever if thats something you want. We did keep finding dead roaches but better dead than alive. House was clean and comfy overall.
