Location was amazing, house was cute .tell we all woke up sick so investigated to find black mold in every room in the house . I texted,emailed,and messaged vbro ,holden beach retreats.with no response at all from anyone at all.which is completely ridiculous. If it wasnt for the mold and the no response from anyone. i would have gave better reviews.the house pictures are very deceiving. Water damage and every room.the stove light for hot surface stayed on all the time. I went to open the blinds in the dinning room they fell apart like 20 pieces broke off.i tried many times to report all of this but no call back or answer. Walked into the house to 3 dead roaches on the floor . Couch was dirty.one pillows in a bedroom look like snot wiped on it.we had to cut off hvac in open up windows to stay there .but we all felt like crap in the house.but as soon as we walked out the houses the sore throat, runny ,stuffy nose, and itchy eyes went away.this was way different then allergies we have those to.but i have a 5 year old that has asthma. Mold is a major health issue....

Great Vacation House

Four adults really enjoyed having King size beds in the four bedrooms. The sunroom was great for relaxing. The beach was easy access. Clean and well furnished.

Great house

Great location, very comfortable, everything worked. There were two umbrellas on the deck, which Vacasa said there weren’t! Well stocked kitchen, with spices and condiments. There are beach chairs, mats and toys! The house is on low stilts so the view of the beach is blocked a little, but you still see the water and some waves.

House was very clean and amazing location. Kitchen had plenty of stuff to cook our meals. Shower stuff, dishwasher tabs, soaps, and washing machines pods were provided which was very nice. Being able to walk out the back door to the beach anytime we wanted was amazing!

We were able visit with family from Whiteville and Wilmington for Christmas and still have our own little escape. We enjoyed watching the waves crash onto the shore from our deck and the sunset was beautiful

Great week on the beach

The location is excellent, being right on the beach, and much quieter than the neighboring beaches that are far more built up and busy. It was winter, so not everything was open and functioning, but that was not a problem.

This is a special place….

This is not a rental house but a true home the owners share with others. The kitchen was well stocked, the sunrises and sunsets all visible from the deck in January were amazing. If a house can have its own vibe….this house has a great one!!!!!

Quiet, relaxing getaway

Hubby and I enjoyed our stay. We didn't even turn the tv. The view out the living room window is beautiful. The house was comfortable and clean. I'm picky about cleanliness. We absolutely loved the beach access. The shells on Holden beach are spectacular. We dubbed the sunroom the "hotbox". It was way too hot to sit out there. A separate wall air conditioning unit would be a good idea. It's great the house has 4 king sized bedrooms. We would definitely rent this house again.
