Caswell Beach Dream

We loved everything about this place. The balcony along would have been enough but the furniture in the living area was very comfortable. The mattress in the main bedroom was superb. We slept very well during our stay. It is quiet and private. The kitchen had everything we needed. We will be back.

Hard to rate this property - the good, the bad and the ugly

Great VIEWS - right on the beach, unobstructed views, The kitchen was very well equipped and the decor was cute. This is where I stop with the accolades, however. Cons: 1) there are no curtains or shades so the main bedroom gets full sunlight at 6am 2) the beds - the main bed was small and covered in a plastic crunchy sheet - the bunk beds were lumpy and uncomfortable 3) the patio door needs serious arm muscle to open it. It needs some lubrication and maintenance 4) when we arrived, the bathroom was quite dirty (hairs on the floor, glass shower door was smudged and there was quite a bit of dust on the light fixtures and ceiling fan). The stove was also streaky 5) when we opened the dryer, we found a musty wet bathroom carpet - perhaps the cleaning staff forgot to start the dryer? 6) on the first night, while looking for a toaster, we found a sizeable cockroach in the pantry 7) it was impossible to find the parking pass and pool pass. a note on the fridge would help, as would a map to the property 8) most importantly, what I absolutely did not appreciate is the unauthorized access to our unit - not once, but twice (that I know of). The first time, we went down to the beach and left our teenager to sleep in. He woke up to two middle aged men in the living room. They said 'pest control' but he was so freaked out that he came running down to find us. A message (text, email, etc) would have been a good idea to send to me, if you were sending over staff that were going to access

Great location and value

This property is in an amazing location...right on the beach and so close to pretty much anything you would ever want to do (golf, dining and bars). It's perfect for a couple and maybe ok for a couple with two children (there is only one bathroom). As long as you are in good enough shape to walk up three flights of stairs, you will enjoy this property immensely!

Beautiful View!!!

This was a perfect place for my husband, son and me to spend Thanksgiving! Would have loved a window covering for the front bedroom. Also, keep in mind that it is on the 3rd floor, so lots of steps. The view was amazing and the location is perfect! We would definitely stay here again.

This was a great property. Right on the beach. We will definitely stay again. the only negatives were no blind in the master bedroom, and an electrician scheduled at 9 AM on the day of our departure.
