Mabel Perfect Noosa Hinterland Gem w/ Heated Pool

Summary:

Mabel is our sweet and perfectly formed cabin offering a serene retreat in the Noosa hinterland. She is stylish, but unfussy and classy, without any pretension. A short 15 minute drive away from Noosa, but set amongst tropical rainforest and nature reserves.



The Space:

The layout is open-plan and light filled with an expansive living and dining area , complete with a 55 inch Samsung TV and Sony soundbar, all set under a beautifully pitched and beamed 11 metre ceiling. A soaring wall of glass (with remote controlled blinds) stretches 6 metres high framing views of the neighbouring nature reserve where you can watch kangaroos and local wildlife idle by. A separate reading den provides another break-out area for those wanting some down time.



Over-sized sliding doors allow you to step out to the poolside patio where you can enjoy a G&T by the glistening saltwater pool (heated during the winter months) and drink in views out to the golf course and beyond. A family-sized Weber BBQ means alfresco dinners and sunset cocktails await you in this incredible entertainer’s oasis.



The inner chef will delight in the stainless steel Smeg appliances and a kitchen well-stocked with all manner of conveniences including a rice-cooker, sandwich press and espresso coffee machine. You can enjoy your coffee on the side deck (built from salvaged wood off the old Noosa jetty!) while your baked goods cook in the oven.



The generous, air-conditioned, master bedroom (king size bed) is on this level, complete with a study nook, robes and a luxurious ensuite that features a shower with seat and a two-way powder room (shared with the living area).



Up the original sleek black spiral staircase lies four additional bedrooms (3 bedrooms with queen beds and 1 bedroom with two single beds), all with built in robes and a large bathroom with a bath and shower. This mezzanine level also features a play area with bean bags, board games, children's books and a tepee.



Outside, you can gather around the fire pit while the kids play in the cubby or horse around on the rope swing while you sit back and listen to the soothing sounds of the meandering creek running through the property.

Please Note: For safety purposes, open fires in the outdoor fire pits are not permitted between the months of November and March. The pool is not heated between the months of November and May.



A large external laundry provides you access with a front loading washing machine and dryer and a driveway that provides ample parking for multiple cars. Two reverse cycle Air Conditioning units are available, downstairs and on the Mezzanine level, plus ceiling fans throughout.

This rainforest retreat was featured in Inside Out Magazine and backs onto the Noosa Valley Golf Course. Mabel provides the perfect backdrop to do nothing if you’re that way inclined, yet she’s a stone’s throw away from the action:



A 3 minute drive to the popular Café Doonan, Fruits of Doonan and the famous Flying West Coffee Roasters

A 7 minute drive to some of the best local breweries (Land & Sea, Boiling Pot) and Noosa Civic (Big W, Woolies)

A 12 minute drive to the vibrant Eumundi Markets and Noosa Farmer’s Market

Less than 20 minutes away from Noosa’s main beach and the stunning National Park.

Please be aware that a creek runs through the property and small children and non-swimmers need to be supervised on the property at all times. The deck itself is fenced in and secure.



Guests must comply with the Local Council code of conduct, and the general house rules.



Pet friendly - We are happy to welcome one dog per booking, we have a $50 pet fee per stay - please ask before booking.



This is a rural property on tank water - power outages in this area are not uncommon during bad weather due to fallen power lines. Electricity and water supply can be affected, which is beyond our control.



The pool is heated during the winter months 1st June to 1st October.
