"We had a wonderful stay at Palm Tree Villa - a group of 7 of us. it was really comfortable and spacious. The open plan kitchen living area worked really well and was a lovely sociable area we could cook, eat and relax together. The bedrooms were perfect with fans and air con to keep cool. We also made use of the BBQ/outside area which was nicely protected from the mosquitoes. Jules was very helpful with tips and advice before and during the stay. Jan and her team looked after us well and were great responding to any questions we had. We loved the pool and garden where we did morning yoga, sunbathed and relaxed. It really is a well planned place for a family or like us a group of friends to stay. The location was fantastic. Close to everything. We used the beach club most days, local supermarkets, great restaurants and above all the beautiful beach with sunsets. We explored the island beyond by bus and car. Bus stops are very near to the villa and are very frequent. It is a great island to discover and we had a wonderful memorable holiday, in wonderful surroundings. Would love to return. "Mango Bay has the most beautiful beach on the west coast. There’s nice snorkeling in the area such that many catamaran tours stop off the coast there. The service by the staff is amazing as they will get to know you personally and remember your preferences. The rooms are a large size for two people (we were three and still comfortable). The hotel is in Holetown and just outside the gate are the local restaurants and bars which are lively on weekends. The food is very good. Only area of improvement I can think of is that the bathrooms could be renovated to be more modern. "

"The Palms Resort was excellent. The entire complex is very pretty with palm trees nicely placed to provide shade. The rooms were bright, clean and inviting. Each room has either a patio or balcony that you enjoy esecially at night when it's cool and the pool is lit up. Book with the Palms Resort. You wont regret it. "

"We stayed for 4 months and we loved the location and the fact that there was a housekeeper once a fortnight and a beach club was included in the cost. It is probably more than adequate for people who have short term stays but for long term, personally I felt the kitchen could have been better equipped as I like to cook, but that did not in any way detract from our stay. There was beach equipment and a BBQ which was useful. The most disappointing thing for us was that the bedding had seen better days so not sure who keeps an eye out on that. The housekeeper was very friendly and would do anything for you that you asked. Neighbours were also friendly which made us feel part of the community and we were very sad to leave. All in all Barbados and the Bajan people were truly wonderful."

"This is the perfect location to be close enough to Holetown to walk to beach and restaurants … days and night very safe … much quieter on Sunset Crest, Poui Ave than being on beachfront and main beach road. A very nice residential area. "
