This KOA is an upscale camping resort with a hotel. Our room in the North hotel was clean, with a spacious living area. Kitchen was fully equipped and had a full size fridge. The bedroom was on the small size and was a little cramped. The bathroom had double sinks. Shower was large, but there was no mat on the floor in the shower, which made it a bit too slippery. A large balcony offered a nice view of the water and the beautifully landscaped campground. There is some traffic noise from nearby US1. We did not find the use of the tv very ‘senior’ friendly, but the staff responded quickly to our request for assistance. The pool was not in operation during our stay, but that did not affect us. We did not take advantage of the amenities offered, but we did enjoy the bar/restaurant and music by Howard Livingston. Bartenders were great, as well as all the staff we came in contact with, who were very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again, and highly recommend this hotel for those who want to be near the hubbub of Key West but also enjoy the quiet life of camping without owning a motor home.

Room was really great with large living area, separate bedroom and large deck. Room even had a full size washer and dryer! We really liked the pool, hot tub and bar area, but wished they would be open later at night. Signs said dusk, but people were staying in them until later.

The rooms were great. The bunk bed mattresses could be better but after a long day the kids didn’t mind them. The room was clean and tons of room. If you want water views ask for 2nd floor and for sunrise views ask for north building. The drinks at the bar are great and the kids loved the beach and pool area. The location is great for trips to Bahia Honda and key west. Would definitely stay here again.

This is such a beautiful resort! Looks just like the pictures! Food is great but a little pricey. Food pricing is what you would expect at a resort but portions are great! The washer and dryer was great because we were able to go home with clean clothes! The facility is clean and well maintained. No room turn over service during your stay but that’s okay. It’s an air bnb vibe in the room with cook top, fridge, and dish washer! Balcony offers great views! The beach is cozy and has cool gadgets for the kids to play in the water. Resort is set up so that you can stay and be entertained! Very family friendly! Highly recommend and I will def book again!

The staff was great! At one point, we couldn’t get our washing machine started, only because of our error, and we had three people at our door, trying to help before we even got back to our room! Office staff always had a smile on their face! Beautiful park!

This was a great place to stay! Lots to do on the grounds, friendly staff, clean and spacious suite. It is a great middle location as well if you’re interested in exploring up or down the keys. The only problem was our stove kept turning off by itself. It took us 30 minutes to boil some water for pasta because we would look over and it had turned itself off. But great stay overall, we will definitely be back!
