Historic three-bedroom chestnut cabin in heart of Valle Crucis!

Ontaroga -Experience historic Valle Crucis, NC in Ontaroga, a rare chestnut cabin within walking distance of the original Mast General Store, Valle Crucis Community Park, Watauga River, etc. Located at the corner of Broadstone Rd. and Hwy 194, this 1930s cabin has three bedrooms, a full kitchen and a large wrap-around porch. Bedrooms 1 and two have queen beds. Bedroom 3 has a full size bed. The bathroom is updated with new fixtures that includes a full-size bathtub and shower. WIFI is provided along with a Smart TV. The kitchen has a refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher and Keurig coffee maker (coffee is provided). You can enjoy a historic setting with the amenities of home.

This cabin was built in 1935 by Howard Murry, a popular local watercolor artist. Aspects of the cabin are original and will need a little TLC (such as opening the original windows). We ask that all who stay in our cabin help us look after this treasured structure.
