Hotel and grounds need upkeep and cleaning. Rugs at entrance were trip hazards, breakfast items were minimal and yogurt was expired. First room we were given ended up being a handicap room, which we had not requested. The shade and blinds were broken and didn’t open. We were then moved to another room. We would not recommend or stay there again. Handicap parking place near door seemed to be used by staff, car did not have handicap plates or sticker. We have stayed at other Quality Inns before, but this was subpar. Disappointing.

The only positive about our stay was how cheap our room was for the 4 days we stayed here. Next time, we will definitely pay more to stay somewhere nicer. It was originally listed that there was a pool, when in fact the pool was emptied and we only found out from the note at the front desk when checking it. The hallways and stairs were covered in dirt and rocks that were dragged in from other's and wasn't cleaned once the entire time were were there. The bed was a rock and the pillows were flat. Our sink was clogged and there was black, mold like flakes coming out of the drain. A light fixture was coming out of the wall and the bathroom light was covered in weird brown spots on the outside. The free breakfast wasn't worth the cheap stay either. They wrapped bagels and bread in saran warp and used scoth tape to close it because they were too cheap to get pre packaged items. If you are wanting to go to Door County, spend the extra money to stay anywhere else.

The staff was very courteous. This hotel was pretty run down though, and definitely needs some TLC. There were carpeting stains, very poor lighting, and there was mildew in the shower. I would choose a different option.
