Disliked: Cleanliness
Location was great and the room and things provided were nice in general. However, the shower angle is off where it sprays about a foot above your head onto the shower wall and it’s difficult to get a direct stream, also the whole shower surround needs some maintenance as I can see mildew growing in the uncaulked areas. I also did not like how there were no cleaning amenities provided. I like to clean up after myself (sweep, mop, disinfect, etc) and there were no cleaning supplies provided outside of a sponge and dish soap. It was also blatantly obvious that the room had been at most tidied but NOT cleaned before our stay as there was dirt and dust and even glitter all over the floor (which ended up giving us black nasty feet). Needless to say I stopped being barefoot after the first hour in the room. The sheets and blankets were also not cleanly smelling and the pillows themselves were awfully uncomfortable. Furthermore, there was a strange room at the end of a ladder filled with alcohol and graffiti, it gave me the creeps and there was no “no guest access” sign like there were on other areas. Finally, the room doesnt cool well fue to the high ceilings which is really fine but my biggest qualm was with the inability to shut out light from the upper windows so no matter what, you are getting that morning wake-up call from the sun herself streaming through the HUGE windows. It’s pleasant most of the time, but not when you are trying to put or keep a child asleep!
