Staff was friendly, but certainly not to the extent I would have thought in this Resort. Room was nice, but it came with a price of $600 per night for the suite…..nothing out of the ordinary for the price. Breakfast buffet left little desire for the appetite for the price of $27 adults and $15 for kids. Dinner at the hotel was very overpriced for the meal….almost in every category. 3 ice creams and a 2” sq chocolate cake was $60, ouch…took over 45 minutes to get it served, unacceptable! No simple coffee/danish option in the main lodge…..had to go out in weather to go 1 mile away. And there, the service was very slow and it was pricey as well for no table service. Overall, I would seek other options for my next visit. We had better expectations!

Burned out lightbulb and no wand for the blinds in the door to allow us to close them. Placed call to housekeeping around 5:00pm, voice mail said they would get back to us. Never did. Reported it to the front desk and even brought the burned bulb with us. Said he would place an order. When we came back from dinner around 9pm, nothing had been corrected. Called the front desk again, was told he had put in an order. When I asked if someone was still around to fix, said "let me check" then came back and said they had left for the day. Did not contact them again the 2nd day, and when we returned to our room that night, nothing had been taken care of. Very disappointed in their handling of the issue.
