When I arrived, the toilet seat was broken, which was a bit disappointing. The hot tub was also undergoing maintenance during regular hours, so I couldn’t use it. I noticed food crumbs in the corner of the table and chairs, though it didn’t bother me much since I was just looking for a quiet place to stay for one night. I had a room with two queen-size beds and a fireplace, which was a nice touch.

It’s always a great stay at the Grey Fox Inn. Our place to stay in Stowe, VT. The Inn has a lot of outdoors space to relax the bike path, pool and close to Stowe activities. Rooms are nice, comfortable and clean with amenities. Amazing staff!!

First time staying here. Great central location. Mountain View rooms are tucked away and quiet. Hot tub was nice after a long hike. Kitchenette had full fridge & freezer, microwave, sink with sponge & dish soap. There was a small stovetop with pots and pans. Already booked next years stay.

Room was in dire need of some updates and maintainence. Shower curtain was over a foot too long and just laid on the bottomof the tub in the dirty water! Not even sure if it was a clean shower curtain or one used by previous guests! Ugh! AC didn't work properly and we even cleaned the filter which was very dirty. Thank goodness it was a cool night and we could open one window. The other window, the whole bottom of the screen was rotted out and missing so we couldn't open that window!

Awesome stay!!!

The whole experience was fantastic!!! The rooms were comfortable and perfect for us. We had breakfast one morning and the pancakes were delicious!!! There were plenty of restaurants to choose from and the one we chose was very tasty! The pools, both inside and out were crystal clear and well kept! Overall, it was one of the best hotel experiences I have ever had.

We had a three day weekend in Stowe while staying at the Gray Fox. Great room with fridge and microwave, two queen beds, and a small balcony. Staff was most welcoming and helpful. I would stay at this property again!

More than we expected

So many great amenities under one roof! We will definitely be back. The kids loved the outdoor pool. The lovely balcony overlooking the meadow was a wonderfully peaceful way to start the day.
