Our 2nd visit and, although the weather wasn’t great, the Green Mountain Inn was wonderful. Accommodations were lovely. The Classic Room was well equipped and king size bed was comfy cozy. We only wish there were more dinner dining options in the area. It seemed most closed early. Otherwise, the dining options at the Inn were great and food was delicious!!

We loved our stay. The Inn was so pretty and we loved the homey feel. Loved the outdoor pool and jacuzzi. Would definitely stay here again. Also loved our room with the fireplace.

A very clean and quaint hotel with lots of history in the heart of downtown Stowe. Almost anything we wanted to do was within walking distance from the hotel and the village was very nice. Amenities of the hotel were very nice and we had plenty of relaxing options like reading by the fire, playing games in the dining room, or enjoying afternoon coffee and tea. This was a great stay for my wife and I with plenty of offerings. We will be returning if we stay in Stowe again.

In the heart of beautiful Stowe. The hotel is historic but if chipped paint in the rooms bothers you because the hotel is not keeping up the facilities well enough then this is not the place for you. However, it did not bother us and we would stay there again. The outdoor and indoor pool and jacuzzi options were lovely. We really enjoyed our stay.

This is a beautiful hotel with a very nice room and extremely friendly staff. The highlight was definitely the food — it was unbelievably good. Overall, a great stay.

This is an old property consisting of several buildings. The front desk is inconvenient. Warning…there are no elevators. You must carry your bags up narrow and zig zagging staircases. I don’t know how the elderly or disabled could do it. The price does NOT include breakfast which is disappointing considering the steep nightly rate. Parking is crammed and difficult. The bathtub has steep walls and is difficult to access. Again, not elderly or disabled friendly at all. It’s convenient and they have a nice restaurant but it’s difficult to access without a reservation.

Great hotel with friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are very spacious and well appointed. The Whip Bar and Grill on the premises is an excellent restaurant with good a good selection of entrees and drinks. I've seen some reviews where people were disappointed but if you tell the staff that the food did not meet expectations, I am sure that they would replace it with something to make it right. There are many people that don't communicate issues. A good estabishment like The Whip will take care of you if you let them.

The staff was friendly. Location was good. However the pillows smelled like they hadn’t been changed and they use old comforters that they can’t wash and have stains which truly give the feeling that the beds are dirty. Plenty of other cute inns nearby that I would try in lieu of here. I decided of all the different stops on a trip I would splurge here and it is definitely overpriced and not worth the money. See attached photos of comforter. I would encourage the staff to go to duvets with sheets to provide great cleanliness. The property was built in 1833 and I love the charm but it isn’t kept up in a clean manner. Multiple spiders outside the room above the chairs on patio. I would not return here regardless of how friendly staff is. Next time I would try the Stowe village inn
