Lovely clean quiet room. The host was very friendly, even coming out to give our daughter food to feed the fish in the pond with which she enjoyed. The breakfast was plentiful with a good range. Will stay again next time we’re in the area.

We had a great stay at Manor Guest house, it is a good location, with a large car park round the back of the building. Breakfast was fresh with a good selection of continental and cooked food, juice and hot drinks. Staff were excellent, and really helpful. We plan to stay again.

Very impressed with The Manor. Super quiet location although in the centre of town. Room was spacious, clean and warm. Wi-fi worked well. Breakfast was delivered prompt (8-9am) with plenty to choose from. We only met the owner/manager who was very attentive and friendly. He also had lots of suggestions of things to do whilst visiting the area. Overall, it was good value for money and we’d stay again if back in the area.

We stayed at the hotel for one night before a trip to Alton Towers. The staff were really really welcoming and friendly throughout the stay. The room was bright clean and tidy and well maintained. The breakfast was a buffet style and there were plenty of options on offer. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again if we are ever back in the area.

I was given room 3 which was average and definitely not like the advertised photos or reviews, there was not hot water which happens, I was then given an 'up grade' to an upstairs room where the shower head was broken and the electric shower when set at medium went from cold to burning on its own, clearly faulty. Bed was very comfortable but the room was dated. Unable to offer comment on the breakfast as I had to leave before it started, 8am is quite late for midweek.

Plenty of parking with easy access to rooms.Room good size but just needs a bit of attention. Curtains hanging down a bit,2 out of 3 bedside lights not working and some coffee sachets out of date. You have to order breakfast night before,personally dont like this as never know what will feel like,but was beautifully cooked. Easy walk into village where selection of food available for dinner.

My sister and I had a lovely stay here. Loads of parking and a lovely gentleman who worked there helped us find our room. He was really helpful, recommended good places to eat and answered any questions we had. The room was clean and comfortable with beautiful gardens outside. Really enjoyed our stay, thank you for having us :)

Stayed for two nights and it exceeded our expectations, all the staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a good stay, after breakfast they gathered all the children together to go feed the fish and show them the babies, which our 3 thoroughly enjoyed. Extremely close to several places to eat and only 15min drive from Alton Towers. Would definitely come back again.
