There was construction in the lobby and front, but other than that, the hotel was clean and well maintained. The rooms were very clean, quiet and comfortable and staff was friendly and attentive.

An excellent place to stay in central Stockholm. Very close to T-Centralen, downtown, and Gamla Stan. Most locations we were interested in were within walking distance. The staff was attentive, respectful, and helpful.

Much construction on the street, and lobby areas. We could hear this in our very nice room on tne 5th floor. We were not notified prior to our stay this would be going on. The breakfast was very good but held in a conferance room due to renovations. The location was good 1/4 mile to hop on hop off bus.

The hotel and staff were wonderful but outside, there was construction happening throughout the night, so we got very little sleep. This hotel needs to talk to the local government about curbing construction in the middle of the night.

Building work & inadequate breakfast arrangements

It’s a shame that there was a lot of building work going on, both within the hotel and the area outside. It was quite difficult to negotiate the roadworks outside. I think we should have been told about it beforehand. Despite the fact that we booked a breakfast time on both mornings we weren’t able to get into the dining area on the second day because of the long queues. This was very disappointing as we had a long day of travelling in front of us.

This hotel is in an excellent location. Walking distance to everything. Bed super comfy as well as linens. We were not informed that the hotel was under renovations thus not as welcoming upon arrival, no early check-in. Actually we got our room shortly after 4 pm. When we got to our room there was no soap in the dispenser so we had to track someone down so we could shower. This is a very large hotel so there was no personal attention really. I would recommend for the location for sure.

We were not aware of the renovation and construction going on inside and outside until we arrived! Quite a mess! Staff was not overly friendly. View was of a drab and boring courtyard….depressing! Worst part of our two week European vacation.
