Almost but not quite

Staff at reception on late arrival were distracted due to a team of flight crew arriving at same time. Little attention paid to the fact two beds had been requested and our room had only one. I had to collect a separate duvet myself from reception. Not quite the standard I expected at this hotel. Our room was not serviced during our stay.

The location was very good. It was right next to Central station. The room was spacious, and clean. Toiletries were provided as were tea/coffee making facilities. Staff were helpful. However, the hotel is starting to look a bit tired in places. I had just transferred from a fairly new hotel, so it was very noticeable. I was also shocked to find that we had to pay extra to use the pool. The hotel was already very expensive so I found this surprising.

I had a good time staying there apart from one day one of people who stayed nearby my room kept slamming the door for whatever reasons. Otherwise it would be excellent. I love the area so close to express railway train to and from the airport, buses and trams. Breakfast was good with choices, I was spoiled. The staff was very helpful, especially the receptionists. I stayed in the double room with windows, The room is cozy, the shower room was excellent and the bed is comfortable. It is a bit pricey after adding breakfast and windows but worth it.

This was a very good hotel, the service and attitude of the staff was very good, the rooms were very clean and serviced every day, breakfast was good and the hotel couldn’t be any closer to the station

This is good hotel overall. Breakfast was excellent, with a wide range of gluten free options. The one big drawback for me, though, is that the family rooms overlook the breakfast hall and have no natural light. I didn't want to spend long in the room because of this. Another problem was that it took a long time for our room to be cleaned. We were forgotten altogether two days running. However, this was quickly rectified when we complained.

The hotel lobby bar was closed for the summer and we were not notified. Also, the rooftop bar was closed Sunday and Monday, again, nothing to indicate this. The staff was inconsistent with their answers regarding these services. Also, the elevators were not organized for transfer between floors as their signs indicated. Also, there is no air conditioning, only air circulation.

Fabulous location, well appointed large room with heated bathroom floor. So good to be near trains and buses. Great Japanese restaurant 50m away and cosy & classy bistro bestick just 200m away. Handy to pedestrian street and Gamla Stan old town. Could not have found a better tourist hotel. Highly recommend m.
