Perfect location for site seeing in the city with excellent links to Arlanda airport. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful and the breakfast selection is excellent. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a city break in Stockholm.

Perfect location for access to the train station. Wifi was fast, room was small but comfortable, slightly weird shower. The big negative was terribly noisy plumbing. I heard water running through the pipes all night. It wasn't consistent like white noise, but went up and down in volume continuously.

Hotel was lovely, location is off the main street but very close to Stockholm Central Station and centre, great for shopping. Dining in the resturant was great, food was amazing. Breakfast was delicious so much choice. Room was very comfortable and clean. Staff very friendly. Would definitely stay again.

We enjoyed our stay at Freys hotel. The location was excellent being walking distance to most things plus being a transport hub. Shopping was just around the corner. Breakfast was excellent with lots of choices. Our room was spacious and well equipped. Would really recommend. Stockholm is lovely.

The hotel is quite old and a little dated in parts. However the room was very comfortable and quiet, looking into the little courtyard below. Location is superb - 100m from the station for the Arlanda express, bus and tram routes to all parts of Stockholm and beyond. Buffet breakfast was varied and superb, the Belgian restaurant has great food as well and the outdoor terrace is a lovely place to sit in the evening with one of dozens of powerful Belgian beers to enjoy. Staff universally friendly and helpful too - very happy with our stay, thanks!

Would not recommend. Everything was old, but not in a fun or historic way. Lots of throw pillows and curtains, which seemed dusty. No air-conditioning. Since the building is old, it’s difficult to get to your room and you have to take multiple doors with keys down winding hallways. The staff does not help you to your room with your luggage. The breakfast was pretty terrible and after the first morning, we ended up going out for breakfast, even though their breakfast was free. The location was nice! We would never stay here again though.

Disappointing despite friendly staff!

Whilst reception was very welcoming the room was very small where you could hardly move. The bathroom was even smaller and would not be suitable for someone above average size. Breakfast was included but pretty pointless as was unable to eat anything-gluten and wheat free options very limited to non existent. The look of the scrambled eggs where very off-putting unless you like blancmange. Very disappointing and would've been catastrophic for someone with celiac diseases let alone wheat allergy like myself. (Only bread was laid out The only real positive was that it was close to the station but really disappointing as a whole considering what we laid out to stay there.

Perfect central location

This hotel was the best location - 2 minutes from Arlanda express and 5 minutes from the central station. The palace and the old town was within walking distance and the main high street for retail stores was also 5-10 minutes walk. Staff were really nice and friendly. Breakfast was reasonable but range could be improved. Room was quiet enough and definitely very eco friendly and clean.
