This stylish and modern holiday apartment in Burggrub, just east of Coburg, offers a peaceful rural retreat perfect for couples seeking both relaxation and comfort. Set in a quiet cul-de-sac in the rear building of the owner’s property, the apartment occupies the entire upper floor and includes a sunny south-facing balcony.

Burggrub lies right on the Bavarian-Thuringian border, making it an ideal base for hiking and biking adventures through the Franconian Forest, Thuringian Forest, and the Green Belt Germany nature reserve. Popular day trips include Kronach (12 km), Sonneberg (12 km), Coburg (30 km), and Bamberg (60 km). In winter, enjoy skiing and cross-country trails in the nearby mountains.

After a day outdoors, unwind in the beautifully maintained garden, complete with a BBQ area and a barrel sauna (available for €30/use). You’ll have private parking at the house.

We werden hartelijk ontvangen , zeer vriendelijke mensen, Het appartement was luxe en van alle gemakken voorzien ! Het is alleen jammer dat je wel minimaal een half uur moet rijden om te kunnen winkelen of leuke stadjes te bezoeken. De stadjes Kronach , Coburg , Bamberg , Bayreuth zijn leuke historische stadjes om te winkelen en te bezoeken. Zondags is echt alles gesloten ook de supermarkten. De stad Neurenberg is echt groot en leuke winkels, wij met de trein vanaf Coburg daar naar toe gegaan , dit om parkeer stress te vermijden , want het is een zeer drukke stad ! We hebben ons goed vermaakt en het appartement zeker een aanrader !!

Het appartement in Burggrub was fantastisch. Bij aankomst een goede ontvangst met duidelijke uitleg van alle apparatuur de vakantiewoning. De vakantiewoning was uitstekend schoon en de ligging perfect in een mooi en rustig dorpje. In de omgeving is op een redelijke afstand van alles te doen of te bezichtigen. De winkels zijn in een naburig dorp goed te bereiken. In het dorp is 1 restaurant maar in de omgeving zijn voldoende mogelijkheden om lekker te gaan eten met keuzes van mooie streekgerechten. Kortom voor ons heeft deze vakantiewoning een 10 verdiend. Fam. Van der Veer Nederland
