Unfortunately, our stay was very disappointing due to serious cleanliness and maintenance issues. When we arrived, it was clear the property had not been properly cleaned between guests. Trash had not been taken out, and there were used tampons and wrappers left in the bathroom trash can, which was extremely unsanitary and unacceptable.The bathtub/shower would not drain, had visible mold, and appeared unclean. Although I contacted the owner and he did come by and attempted to wipe out the tub, it did not resolve the problem. Overall, the bathroom was in poor condition.We also had to make an unexpected trip to Walmart to purchase basic essentials like bath soap, tissues, shampoo, and conditioner because they were not provided as expected or were left half empty. Given the condition of the property, we were even concerned whether the bed linens had been changed from previous guests.This was not the clean, ready-for-guests rental we expected, and we were sadly disappointed because the pictures were very misleading. I hope the host addresses these sanitation and maintenance issues so future guests do not have the same experience.
